Hola!
Introducing our exquisite, one-of-a-kind hand-painted sugar skulls (traditionally known as "Calaveras") adorned with beautiful colours, imported directly from Mexico. Each skull is meticulously crafted with intricate details, representing the rich cultural heritage and symbolism associated with Day of the Dead/Dia de los Muertos celebrations. These unique and eye-catching decorative pieces are perfect for adding a touch of Mexican tradition and artistic flair to any space.
This gorgeous hand-painted Ceramic Skull has been made by Sandra & Ernesto, of Guerrero in South Western Mexico. They have been married for 7 years and have two children. Both of them learned the artisan craft of hand painting these beautiful Skulls as children and now as adults, they have built a small business for themselves which enables them to support their families by selling their crafts to others and they love what they do!!
We are so excited to be able to bring this vibrant one-of-a-kind piece of art back to New Zealand and share its unique beauty with you!
