Underfoot Feel

The shoe features a midsole which is primarily made of Mizuno’s U4ic foam. It also uses premium Enerzy foam in the heel for added cushioning and protection on initial footstrike. This innovative Enerzy foam has a bouncy feel and is extremely durable.

The double fan-shaped Wave Plate reduces pronation and transfers weight from heel strike through to toe-off. It also disperses shock throughout the sole unit, stabilising the midsole foams. In addition, the Wave Plate also aids forward propulsion.

The carbon rubber outsole is highly durable and also offers great grip.

Upper Fit

The AIRmesh upper is highly breathable and supportive. Like most other Mizuno models, the Wave Equate 7 has a secure ankle fit for a secure feel.

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
